El Dorado Hills Family Session Folsom American River Trail

Several years ago while living in Foster City, Erica reached out to me to photograph her maternity session, when she was expecting her first baby. She told me that her wedding photographer Paul Von Rieter recommended she look for a film photographer or photographer that emulated film when looking for a new photographer and that is how she found me. This was the absolute best and most flattering news that she hired me after him because if you are in the wedding industry you know who Paul Von Rieter is. He’s a big deal.

Fast forward many years and several sessions together we both ended up in the East Sacramento area at the same time and we got to capture her growing, beautiful family. Last time I saw Erica I went over to her home and saw that she had photos from previous sessions hanging on her wall and I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to know that my work is hanging in homes, a lasting heirloom for years to come.  These guys truly are some of my favorite people and I am so glad for the connection we have made and the beautiful moments we have captured together.
