American River Trail Family Photos

I remember the first time I drove by this location in Folsom. I marked it in my maps as a pretty location to come back and location scout. Fast forward two years and I am doing the most gorgeous family photos there with a beautiful family. Originally we had planned to do a session in the lupines that bloom around Folsom lake every year but this year we had so much rain we didn’t get a substantial bloom like we did in years past. Lucky for us there were still lots of wildflowers along the river. We caught ladybugs, rolled around in the field, played in the grass and captured the prettiest moments.
